Landon Hickok

Landon Hickok was raised in Olds, Alberta. After graduating high school, he spent two years at Home Church Bible College in Red Deer. He started his passion for media at the church volunteering on camera, switcher board, text, and graphics, which he continues to do to this day at City Life Church in Leduc.

Landon is in his second year of Radio and Television at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), where he plans to pursue a technical career in live sports broadcasting.

He is also currently a camera operator for the NAIT Ooks men's and women's hockey teams, the year previously he was a switcher and robotic camera operator for the same organization. During the summer he took an internship with the Edmonton Stingers, where he created media kits and player bios, and interviewed players and coaches postgame.

In his downtime, Landon loves to follow all things professional sports. His biggest passion is the NHL, which is also a subject on his radio show at NAIT where he co-hosts. He also has enjoyed playing casual sports such as golf and curling.
