Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Ashaan Jiwani is a graduate of McNally High School, where his time with the McNally News Network sparked his path toward the Radio and Television program at NAIT.
Ashaan lives with his family in a household of four, along with four cats. He currently works part time in marketing and as a team member at Chick-fil-A The Meadows, which opened on April 10, 2025.
Passionate about storytelling and media, Ashaan hopes to pursue a career as a producer or editor. He has a strong history of community involvement, volunteering with CKUA Radio during K-Days in summer 2025, supporting events at McNally High School, and helping at the Kids Power Up summer camp. Ashaan also enjoys being part of the Edmonton community, advocating for others and staying involved in what’s going on around the city.
