A born and raised Edmontonian, Austin Steinhauer is the youngest of three brothers. He graduated from Ross Sheppard High School in 2014 and enlisted with the Canadian Armed Forces Infantry in March 2018. He was posted to New Brunswick during his time in with the 2nd Royal Canadian Regiment (RCR) and came back home in March 2021. Trying his hand in the security field for a couple years, Austin decided to go to post-secondary.
He was previously enrolled in the DMIT computer software development program in late 2023 but shifted to RATV as he realized he knew nothing about software development and had no passion for it. He is currently in his third semester with the Radio & Television program at NAIT. Since being in the RATV program, Austin has discovered a passion for editing and videography. Austin aims to become a fulltime voice actor and editor once he finishes the program.
When Austin is not working or at school, you can find him playing video or board games, hanging out with friends, going on hikes, watching movies (he’s a big lover of horror) or putting off learning how to play the guitar. Austin is currently a volunteer with the Edmonton Humane Society.
