Yana Alfaro was born and raised in Cavite, Philippines. Yana moved to Edmonton in 2023 to enroll in Television Program at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She's currently in her third semester. Before entering a broadcasting industry, she has a college degree at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Philippines, Major in Film and Video Production in 2022. While she still pursuing a career in film or television production, Yana volunteered as a freelance photographer during her college years to gain some experience and improve her works outside the learning environment.
In her spare time, she loves binge watching series, some vlogs, playing video games, and cover some songs and post it in her dump accounts.
