Jeremy Russo is a second-year Media Communications and Production student at NAIT, with a lifelong passion for broadcasting and sports storytelling. Born in Edmonton, Jeremy is the second-born twin, arriving just one minute after his fraternal brother, Nicolas. Jeremy’s passion in broadcasting developed early in elementary school, joining the morning announcements and broadcasting teams until graduating as class Valedictorian from Archbishop O’Leary High School in 2021.
Driven by a deep love for sports and learning, Jeremy began his studies at NAIT and has since been awarded the Ernie Poscente Memorial Merit Scholarship. Outside the classroom, he volunteers with the St. Albert Minor Football Association as an announcer. Additionally, Jeremy provides play-by-play commentary for the NAIT Ooks men’s and women’s hockey teams. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys music production, playing hockey, hiking and watching the Oilers.
