Awiet Magok was born and mostly raised in Alberta’s capital, Edmonton. But grew up in various parts of Canada. While Edmonton is her hometown, her family roots stretch back to South Sudan, adding a cultural dimension to her personality. Currently a third-semester student in the Radio and Television program at NAIT, she has her sights set on completing a bachelor's degree in communications, with journalism as her major after the program.
Growing up, Awiet grew up in a family where sports was the centre of attention. She played basketball and did track and field. Beyond sports, her dreams extend to the world of entertainment. With aspirations to have her own talk show in the future, which she has already taken steps to pursue. When she's not working on her studies or working at Pandora, you can find her indulging in reality TV like watching "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" or "Selling Sunset."
Her motivation isn't solely personal; it's a tribute to her late brother, her greatest cheerleader, whose memory she strives to honour and make proud.
