Alyssa Conti is a Radio and Television student from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She works as the News and Features Editor for the student paper, The Nugget, and won their Contributor of the Year award in 2023. She will also be contributing to techlifetoday.
Alyssa has been writing since early childhood, but she took a detour on her path to becoming a storyteller. By taking research classes in sociology at the University of Alberta and working in data collection, she could interview participants and listen to their stories. Alyssa loved seeing the humans behind it all and wanted nothing more than to do these stories justice. She also believes that working in customer service allows her to communicate with people from all walks of life.
In her free time, Alyssa loves to recharge by laying on the couch and binge-watching comfort movies. Her guilty pleasures are reality shows and early 2000s rom-coms.
