Your NAIT OneCard does a lot more than simply identify you as a student.
It is one of the most useful tools on campus, and most students are not using it to its full potential.
Setting up your OneCard is easy. Simply upload a photo of yourself through the MyNAIT portal. This is a requirement for all students and staff. Once your photo has been approved, you’ll be emailed instructions on how to pick up your card. Show your government-issued photo ID at the OneCard office in building CAT180N.
Loading funds onto your OneCard can be done easily online using a credit card or debit card. You can also load funds in person at the OneCard office and various locations across campus.
Your balance will never expire. If you load funds for this semester, they will roll over into the next. There is never a need to spend all your funds quickly. Should your card go missing, you can easily deactivate it online. Your money is still stored in your account and will transfer over to a new card. However, you are responsible for protecting your card.
If your card is lost or stolen, there is a $25 replacement fee. Don’t poke holes in your card. The chip embedded in your card is what makes your OneCard work. Puncturing your card will ruin the chip.
Keep in mind, you can’t use your OneCard to pay your tuition fees. It is for use on campus services and retail purchases only.
Your OneCard is most likely already sitting pretty in your wallet. Investing five minutes to add funds and learn where you can use your OneCard will save you both money and headaches, not to mention the awkwardness of a vending machine standoff.
