For post-secondary students living in Edmonton, it can be pretty difficult deciding on what to eat today. Thankfully, NAIT has its own selection of locations to purchase lunch for yourself that every NAIT student should know!
Sure there’s a Tim Horton’s in basically every building and even a Subway in the CAT building, as well as countless vending machines for you to get snacks from, but here are some dedicated eateries you can only find at NAIT!
The Fresh Express is the first up! It’s found right next to Ernest’s, which is another restaurant found at NAIT. This way you have options for a quicker lunch as well as a proper, fancy meal if you have the time. The Fresh Express offers a wide variety of hot foods, ready to be eaten alongside a drink and a wide selection of candies. Made by our very own culinary students, there’s definitely no shortage of sandwiches, soups and salads, or various baked goods for you to try out.
The Artisanal Food Market is next, offering a wide selection of cold foods for you to heat up and enjoy! They primarily deal with meat-related foods, such as chilli, pepperoni sticks and pork cutlets with pasta! You can even purchase different cuts of raw meat so you can take it home to cook for dinner! The Artisanal Food Market also deals with baguettes and cakes, so you have some sweet to balance out the savoury.
The Nest is basically the go-to spot when it comes to places to eat at NAIT. What sets The Nest apart from every other place isn’t just the fact that it serves alcohol alongside the food, as seen from this menu, but it’s also where all of the awesome events happen, like the various types of themed bingo! If there’s any place you should visit on campus with your friends after a long day, The Nest is that place.
