The semester is almost over, and the time for job hunting is coming up fast. Looking for a job can be stressful. Especially alone. A free and easy way to look for employment is through Symplicity.
It is a job listing service provided through NAIT, where students can look through a range of positions. All they need to do is make a profile and insert all the relevant information, this includes:
- A home and school address.
- Program information.
After the profile is made, a confirmation email is sent, which lets users view job postings based on their preferences such as: part/full time, remote/on-site, industry and more. Some jobs will even be labelled with a “not qualified” tag if it has been deemed incompatible with a program’s skills.
An application can be made on the website for any listed position. Employers list the job details and qualifications that they require for their jobs. Attaching a resume and cover letter is required when applying.
On the website are jobs like Social Media Manager, Geotechnical Engineer in training, and Photography Assistant.

- Complete two required sections. Looking anything up is not necessary. Just complete the checklist.
