NAIT is hosting thousands of prospective students this Saturday, Oct. 24 for the annual open house.
Running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., over 100 different programs are being showcased at the event, with live hands-on demonstrations and guided tours happening throughout the day.
“So this is a great chance for people to ask their questions, understand what it would be like to be a student in the program, and what it would be like to work in careers that the program leads to,” says Fred Schultz, director of enrollment management at NAIT.
Program booths are located throughout campus to help visitors learn more about the many programs NAIT has to offer.
“If you come to campus on any other day and you’re not yet a student at NAIT, those instructors are usually busy teaching or, you know, doing something else, and you just don’t get a chance to talk to them,” Schultz added.
Visitors can view a digital map and visit the NAIT open house website to help find their way around campus.
