Edmonton’s Downtown Dining Week offers deals on menus in selected restaurants

Over 60 restaurants are participating in this year’s Downtown Dining Week from March 15 to 26.

“It’s an important event for downtown businesses, and it’s a way we have to promote and get the people motivated to come inside and try our products,” said Beatriz Ubeda, A Bite of Brazil’s co-owner.

Downtown Dining Week offers deals worth $20 on lunch or brunch menus and $35 to $65 on dinner menus. These are pre-set menus provided by participating restaurants.

“It’s very important for us to be a part of Downtown Dining Week because it’s a way we have to promote our culture, our store, our Brazilian street food, our bites and our treats. We have a very cozy environment. We try to prepare our food and products as close as possible to the original recipes that we have in Brazil so people can expect to have a good Brazilian experience visiting us.”

During the week, A Bite of Brazil offers $20 combos for the whole day. One of the combos is the “Favourite Bites” combo, which includes:

• One choice of sandwich between brisket, chicken & caramelized onion, pesto caprese
• Salad or soup
• Drink

The second is the “Traditional Bites” combo, which includes:

• A pie slice of either heart of palm or chicken
• Cheese bread and chicken fritters
• Drink

A complete list of participating restaurants and special menus is available online. People can purchase Edmonton Downtown Gift Cards to use during Downtown Dining Week.
