There are a lot of things that future college students don’t know about our school before they start their journey here at NAIT.
One thing every student shares in common though is having a bad experience with a teacher before in school whether the teacher assigns too much homework, or is too strict and won’t let you talk to your friends. Everyone has had a different experience in different grades but I can assure you here at NAIT you will never get a bad instructor.
Before I started my first semester, I was scared most of all about tough instructors who give harsh grades and didn’t care about my future and just thought of me as another student in their class.
I would soon find out that it was the complete opposite. The instructors here at NAIT are some of the greatest people I have ever had the pleasure of teaching me.
Very quickly you will find that they truly care about you as a student and want you to excel in the field that you’ve chosen and want nothing but to help you achieve your dreams in broadcasting.
The main difference between the instructors here at NAIT and the teachers you have had through all your schooling is instructors are experts in their respected fields they know the industry better than anyone due to their real world experience in the field.
My experience through the first semester, was the greatest experience I have ever had with instructors which makes classes much easier.
I am excited to see the new NAIT students coming for the winter semester to meet and have the pleasure to work with these incredible instructors.
As part of the NAIT’s Radio and Television program I have had the pleasure of meeting the best instructors of my life including:
- Lamya Asiff
- David Sawchuk
- Dave Albright
- Silvana Babchishin
- Erin Callihoo
- Kim Brix
The best things I found about the instructors here at NAIT was just how willing they are to help you with everything. Getting confused about an assignment or project is an inevitable part of the college process but anytime I feel confused the instructors are always right there to help me whenever I need it.
If you are having doubts about NAIT for this upcoming winter semester just know that the instructors here at NAIT are always there to support you and will never leave you in the dark.
