Top upcoming video games in 2023

With the new year just around the corner, the new upcoming selection of video games has gamers on the edge of their seat. With each year that passes, the quality of games increases substantially; I’m here to talk about two of the most hyped-up video games in 2023.

Breath of the Wild: Tears of the Kingdom

This highly anticipated sequel is Nintendos magnum opus. The original sold over 27 million copies, which makes it one of the top-selling games on the Nintendo Switch. Breath of the Wild: Tears of the Kingdom intends to keep the status quo, with their main change making more of the game take place in the sky. Despite gamers’ excitement, the game itself is still shrouded in mystery. Nintendo has posted only one 1:30-long video to tide over fans.

Hogwarts Legacy

If you’re a Harry Potter fan or just have always wanted to be a magic-wielding wizard, well then this is the game for you. Set to release on February 7th, this game has you take the place of a regular student at Hogwarts. Take part in wizarding classes or just explore everything that Hogwarts has to offer. Players can choose their own house and, as the name suggests, create their own legacy.
