Read all you want for free with Libby

The semester is almost over, and soon students will have more time to relax. Why not save yourself a trip to the bookstore by downloading Libby? It is a free library app that allows its users to borrow as much reading material as they want. The only things you need to start your summer reading journey are a library card and the name of your local library.

Libby can be downloaded onto many devices, including phones, iPads, and even Kobos, so its users can read whenever they have a free moment during their days.

Libby provides you with many choices, including:

Libby still works just like a real library, meaning there are limited copies of books available even though the books are all online. Because it is so popular, there can be moments when a book you want to read is already being borrowed by someone else. Users will be placed on a wait list when this happens. They will be notified as soon as the previous owner returns their own copy or when their borrowing time has run out. 

Despite this, there are still many books to choose from that can be borrowed immediately. The app even has a Skip the Line feature, which allows users to read popular books immediately so they don’t have to go through the waitlist process. This feature is also helpful if you are in the mood to read but don’t know what to choose.
