NAITSA kicks off holiday celebrations

With winter break only a week away, NAIT students are feeling the holiday spirit and are getting ready for a relaxing break. Wanting to get in on the early celebrations? NAITSA is ramping up to have some amazing events leading up to the holidays, open for any and all students!
NAIT’s student association is preparing some amazing events and surprises, both big and small, to celebrate all the hard work that students have put into their work this semester- here’s how they’re doing it:
- A Little Warmth for the Holidays Event-To add a little warmth to NAIT students’ holidays, NAITSA is holding its first Christmas event of the year! Running from Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. to Dec. 11 at 4 p.m., students are encouraged to drop in to room E134 to grab some candy canes and hot chocolate and enjoy the treats with their friends and the community. Because the event focuses on community care and support, NAITSA will include a heartfelt message with every treat!
- VTSA Santa Pet Photos- Another amazing event that will be offered this year is the Santa pet photos event! Students are encouraged to bring their pets to room X107 in the X Building for a fun photo with Santa. Dogs, cats, reptiles and birds can attend! Simply bring your furry friend to the X building on December 11 from 5 to 8 p.m., and the Veterinary Technologist Students’ Association will provide costumes, treats and decorations, as well as adorable Christmas photos and memories that will last a lifetime. Make sure to RSVP on the Ooks Life website, as attendance is limited!
- End of Term Bash- At the end of the semester here at NAIT, there will be one last Christmas event- an end-of-term party! The event offers games to play with friends, treats, surprise activities and even prizes to win! Students will have one last event for the semester to celebrate all their hard work and be a part of the NAIT community. The event will be on Dec. 16 from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m., and will be in room W202! Nearing the end of the semester, students are definitely ready for some fun and a break after a strong year. Join in on the celebrations at NAIT to get into the holiday spirit!
