NAIT fitness and recreation

Fitness and recreation are important parts of student life. NAIT offers multiple options to keep yourself active and relaxed. Whether you aim to improve your fitness level or to just fill that empty part of your day, the opportunities available are diverse and provide various interests and preferences. Options like:

  • Basketball
  • Futsal
  • Soccer
  • Volleyball
  • Badminton
  • Squash
  • Hockey
  • Games
  • Fitness center

Sports

If you like to play basketball, volleyball, soccer, or hockey you can try out for the school teams and represent the Ooks. If you are not that serious about sports but still like playing casually you can sign up for intramurals, and if you just like to play for fun there are gymnasium drop-in times and ice rink drop-in times.

Fitness centre

NAIT’s fitness centre offers different ways to work out depending on how you want to do it. They offer multiple options ranging from lifting weights to cardio-centric workouts, and squash courts. the fitness centre is easy to access and is open four days a week.

Games

NAIT gives its students multiple opportunities when it comes to games offering things like the South Lobby games events. it has clubs like the Super Smash bros club, and if you are not into video games there are clubs like the Dungeons & Dragons that show a different side of gaming.

So when you think you have nothing to do or if you need to fill that space in your day know that NAIT Fitness and Recreation has your back.
