NAIT Fall semester comes to an end

By Alexander Sprowl on December 10, 2025

NAIT students are finally approaching the end of the Fall 2025 term. Winter break begins soon, final exams sweep across the campus, and for many students, the downtime couldn’t come at a better moment.

A moment to pause

For most students, this stretch between exams and the holidays marks a natural time to reflect on how far they’ve come since September. It’s a chance to look back at academic wins, lessons learned and the goals they’re carrying into the winter term.

For those nearing graduation, this break offers space to think about what comes next. Whether it’s apprenticeships, industry placements or the early steps of a new career.

Holiday activities around Edmonton

Of course, school isn’t the only thing on students’ minds. Whether seeking outdoor adventure, festive markets or simply time with friends, students have no shortage of things to do and see across Edmonton, including:

  • Skiing
  • Snowboarding
  • Skating
  • Ice fishing
  • Christmas shopping
  • Candy Cane Lane
  • Edmonton Christmas Market
  • Magic of Lights
  • Relaxing with friends and family

For students hoping to spark their Christmas spirit, an endless number of fun winter activities await!

Looking ahead

As the Fall 2025 semester draws to a close, NAIT students are balancing deadlines with anticipation, preparing for the holidays while keeping an eye on what’s ahead.

Winter break offers the reset many need, but the new semester isn’t far behind. The winter semester starts up again on Thursday January 8th. What’s more, the tuition deadline is upon us Wednesday December 10th. So don’t wait around!
