Life at NAIT: a premium eating experience
By James Nicholson on April 23, 2025
Healthiness is a lot of things, depending on your point of view. If you’re a student, the health of your bank account is always at the front of your mind.
Introducing the NAIT Common Market, as if it needed any introduction. A stalwart of NAIT culture, as you’d expect. If you need any more urging, allow me to convince you.
As for the hours, they have you covered. The most lunch-friendly place on the planet has a schedule of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.. It’s the obvious landing spot for the hordes of hungry students, angry students, and the students who feel many things that lie in between.
From personal experience, or what little I have as a student living a hectic schedule, the NAIT Common Market has so many options that I feel guilty choosing one over the other. Not to mention the next door neighbours at the Artisanal Food Market. But, as I brought up before, the main draw is the fair prices.
Newer students often find themselves wandering the halls looking cost-effective, and stomach-filling options. After all the endless perusing, they always wind up in one spot and one spot only. I think I’ve mentioned it a couple of times.
You might find it sounds like an overreaction to say this place is the best on the entire campus, and that very well might be true, but I can’t help myself. Options, cost-effectiveness, and definitely not an age away, what more could you possibly want?
Make sure you’ve kept yourself hungry for lunch, you won’t want to skip out on it any longer.
