By Jordan Gyman on December 10, 2025
With the Winter break coming up and the end of the semester, you may be looking for festive ways to wind down! If you are looking to wind down this winter, I will tell you what some festive and fun ways you can spend the last few days of class, and some fun activities you can do during the break!
Students get $59 Oilers tickets for any Tuesday home game. There is only one game this break that will work with this discount, which is December 23rd against the Calgary Flames. The ticket comes with a seat, and a Molson Canadian, Coors Light or fountain pop! To get notifications for when these tickets go on sale every Sunday, just follow the intrusions here
If you are looking for more of a chill movie night, there are multiple movies you can choose to watch! The check in for Home Alone is tonight at 4:30, with the movie being from 5:00 to 6:35 in room 191 in the CAT Building!
Another movie is on Friday, you can support the Respiratory Therapy Class of 2028, by joining them in a showing of The Polar Express at the Shaw Theater which is in the X building just across from shop AT NAIT! Tickets cost from about $5 to $7! Get them now before they sell out! You will also be able to buy snacks and drinks there to support the program!
If you are looking for a way to make some Christmas presents this week, you can also go to Drop in Beading at the Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre this Friday from 12-1! It is available to all students! Materials are included and guidance is available for those who need it!
Whether it’s cheering for the local hockey team, or watching movies with fellow NAIT Students, there are definitely a few things a NAIT student can do over the winter break!
