It’s the most wonderful time of the year! As the leaves fall off the trees and are carried away by the cold breeze, it can only mean one thing: Santa Claus is coming to town. This year, the City of Edmonton has a bunch of fun and festive holiday activities happening across the city so you and your family can welcome the snow in style. Here are some exciting holiday events that you can enjoy this Christmas.
Kingsway Holiday Parade – Airport Road to Kingsway Mall
On November 16th, the Kingsway District Association invites Edmontonians to ring in the holiday season with the 5th annual Holiday Parade. The parade will start in front of Kingsways Superstore and end at Kingsway Mall, where Santa will be visiting. This event is free and will provide viewing stations for families to see the parade live.
Edmonton Christmas Market – Fort Edmonton Park
From November 28th to December 15th, Fort Edmonton Park welcomes Edmontonians into their own winter wonderland at the Edmonton Christmas Market. The market offers festive holiday activities to enjoy with family and friends. Be entertained by live performances, movie screenings, streetcar rides, and more with a general admission pass for $20.95 with online purchases on the website and $24.95 at the door.
