Gamers of Dungeons & Dragons hosting weekly gaming sessions at NAIT
By Jeremy Russo on March 21, 2025
As this Wednesday evening rolls in, NAIT students are coming back together for their weekly tabletop role-playing (TTRPG) gaming sessions.
Every Wednesday and Friday between 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. students are encouraged to mingle inside rooms H005 and H007, as they venture in games of fantasy, puzzles and critical thinking.
With plenty of games to choose from such as (but not limited to)
-Dungeons & Dragons
-Pathfinder
-Call of Cthulhu
The opportunity each week allows students with similar interests to connect and reach out – bonding and making new friends. The sessions allow individuals to thrive under their own leadership and team building abilities.
The best part? The only thing to bring is yourself! All other equipment is supplied through the club leaders.
Don’t know the rules? Although there will always be someone to teach you, if you are unsure what a TTRPG is, these are their basic parameters.
Dungeons & Dragons
A gathering of like minded individuals, interested in fantasy and sharing a narrative in which they are able to forge their own story.
Pathfinder:
In a TTRPG of nefarious villains, and powerful spells, Pathfinder dives into a complex world of magic, and mystery – requiring quests and missions to be solved through math, and problem solving.
Call of Cthulhu:
Call of Cthulhu is a horror fiction role-playing game based on H.P Lovecraft’s story of the same name and the associated Cthulhu Mythos.
Tabletop role-playing games are diverse in each experience, and provide different settings, conversations, and interactions amongst them.
Don’t be shy. Come give these games a try!
