Excellent Christmas Dinners around Edmonton for students

Christmas is around the corner, which means so are tons of delicious feasts. Everyone deserves to enjoy a festive holiday meal this Christmas. If you are a student who can’t make it home for the holiday or your family would rather go out than cook, local Edmonton restaurants have you covered. Here is a list of five restaurants that provide a quality Christmas meal:
- Christmas Eve (December 24th):
- The Harvest Room & Terrace – Fairmont Hotel Macdonald – $129.00 per person.
- Seating times: 5 – 7:30 p.m. only.
- Provides a 5-course Christmas dinner.
- Live music.
- Culina to Go – $42 per person.
- Pick up only.
- Roasted turkey dinner with sage gravy, vegetables and mashed potatoes.
- They can be picked up on both December 23rd and 24th at Culina to Go Oliver from 12 – 4:30 p.m.
- Christmas Eve and Day:
- River Cree Casino and Resort – All courses add up to $34.
- Sit down.
- 3-course menu, main turkey dinner is $24.99, soup and dessert can be added on for additional pricing.
- Ferson Bros – $60 boxes, feeds four, $15 per person.
- 6 a.m. – 11 p.m.
- Pick up only.
- Ukrainian styled Christmas dinner.
- Roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, carrots in creamy dill sauce, perogies, and tray buns.
- Selective sides can be added for an additional price.
- Highlands Golf Club – $200 box, feeds four, $50 per person.
- Full 4lb turkey dinner with apple and sage stuffing, turkey gravy, maple-glazed carrots and beets, mashed potatoes, citrus cranberries, and salad.
- Pick up only.
- The meals can be picked up both on Dec 24. And 25. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
After reading this list, you may ask yourself, which one should I get? If you’re with a group of family or friends and want a traditional Christmas meal, the offering from Highlands Golf Club could be the golden ticket. If you’re willing to spend and want to dine fancy, the Harvest room would provide for those needs. You may just want something cheap and simple, if so the Culina to Go and River Cree Resort would cater to those needs.
