Being a student at NAIT has many benefits. Whether it be transportation, recreational facilities or campus health services, there is always something for students to utilize.
One resource in particular is underused and unknown by many students on campus. That would be the multiple scholarships and bursaries offered by NAIT. There are a bunch of different awards available for all types of individuals, including:
- First year students
- International students
- Indigenous students
- LGBTQ+ students
- Second year students
There are also certain scholarships dedicated to the different programs offered here at NAIT. Exclusive to students who are enrolled in those specific programs. Which greatly increases your chances of being awarded these scholarships.
Not all awards require a ton of effort either. Many students think you have to write an essay to be considered for every scholarship, which is simply untrue. Entrance awards are offered at NAIT for incoming students. All these scholarships require is that you pay your first semester tuition and fill out a general application.
All students on NAIT campus could use some extra cash to help pay for school. Plus, many students are unaware of just how easy it is to apply. Giving you an even better chance of being selected for an award.
Scholarships and bursaries for the winter term are currently open for applications. Be sure to check the deadlines for each scholarship before you apply. The deadline will vary with each application but many are either end of January or the end of February.
