Being a first-year student at NAIT can sometimes feel overwhelming; whether it’s the never-ending maze-like halls or the constantly piling-up homework, that stress can get you down. However, NAIT students are always working on ways to curb this stress.
With the ability for students to form clubs and hold events based on their interests, NAIT has quickly built itself a reputation based on hospitality. While the process to form a club may take a little bit of elbow grease, NAIT offers guidance on every step of the way to make things as stress-free and streamlined as possible as possible.
If you’re more interested in the participation side of things however, NAIT has plenty of active clubs holding regular events every week. With each club headed by students and supported by NAITSA, these clubs are an easy way to meet new like-minded people around campus. With clubs such as,
- The Board Game Club, a weekly gathering held Friday nights, that allows for students new and old to get a taste of Tabletop Roleplaying Games
- The Quiz Bowl Club, a fast-paced trivia event held every Friday night
- The Paintball Club’s end of year celebration
The best part about these clubs is that they are free and always open for you to drop in on, with the student heads always happy to lend a helping hand if you need a little bit of guidance. If you find yourself bogged down with the busy student life, why not take a break, meet some new faces and have fun?
