4 ways for NAIT students to connect with each other in October

October is revving up to be a pretty busy month for NAIT, especially when it comes to events and clubs hosted by NAITSA and NAIT students.
This is the time to branch out, meet new people and build everlasting connections to make the fall term way more fun. Here are 4 fun ways to connect with others at NAIT this October:
1. Campus Scavenger Hunt
Rights Quest is a hands-on scavenger hunt that guides students through discovering their rights and responsibilities throughout campus.
This is a fun event where students can bond with each other while also solving clues, tackling fun challenges and winning the grand prize for your team.
This event is by NAITSA, Learning Services and the NAIT library. It begins on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 11:30 a.m. in the South Lobby.
2. Learn to Climb
Rock climbing offers an incredible mix of fitness and fun; it can feel a little bit scary at first but that’s why the Learn to Climb classes are a great way for NAIT students to learn the basics of climbing while having fun in the process.
NAIT Athletics and Recreation is hosting this class and it begins on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 12:15 p.m. at the Fitness Weight Centre and again on Oct. 9 at 12:15 p.m.
3. Rave Bingo
The Rave Bingo at the Nest combines lively music with colourful lights and pumped-up energy with a splash of bingo!
There will also be a live DJ playing rave-like music while students have the chance to mingle with each other and dance the night away.
NAITSA Events is hosting Rave Bingo on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 4:30 p.m.
4. Build & Battle Night: LEGO, Cards, and Comic Night
Build & Battle Night at the Nest is a perfect mix of LEGO building, trading decks of cards and even checking out some comic books!
Students will be able to bring along their fellow classmates and indulge in some competitive gaming or vibe along to some great tunes.
NAITSA Events is hosting this wonderful event on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m.
