The Muttart Conservatory is holding Sail into Spring to welcome the change in season, decorating its Feature Pyramid with different colourful flora, miniature figures and migratory birds display for visitors to enjoy.
Welcome aboard. Upon entering the Feature Pyramid, visitors are greeted by the sweet fragrance of blooming tulips , daffodils , hyacinths and more .
Sail into spring. At the centre of the pyramid, an impressive display of a ship carrying various flowers is seen. It has parrot tulips , dianthus and common primrose on board.
Red cardinal figures, highly associated with new beginnings, are perched on a tree branch while a mist slowly creeps in.
Blossoms and smiles. Visitors take pictures with the blooming flowers.
Show of affection. A couple is hugging each other while a mother and son giggle as they play around.
Visitors get mesmerized as they watch kois gracefully swim.
In a fountain, a miniature lady stands on a mini raft while greeting little ducks .
Well of wonder. An eye-catching display of birds , butterflies , dragonflies , miniature fairies and rabbit figures living in harmony in a well.
Children are curious about what’s inside the well.
Flying with the seasons. A display of Canadian geese flying to migrate.
A couple is sitting and relaxing in the pyramid. One is capturing the moment and painting different coloured tulips .
Sail into Spring is available to the public until April 28. Tickets for Muttart Admission start at $7 to $14, from child to adult.
