Inside Splatterverse: West Edmonton Mall’s latest attraction

Located inside DRIVE, Splatterverse is West Edmonton Mall’s newest attraction that offers a unique and exhilarating experience for visitors. Upon arrival, patrons don their protective gear and then receive glow paint to use inside Splatterverse’s art studio under black light. Anyone aged six and up can splatter, drip and fling paint to create a one-of-a-kind abstract masterpiece. Or they turn each other into the canvas.

The art studio is large enough to fit up to six people comfortably, but it isn’t always full.
The studio walls also serve as a canvas for you to create art.
A wide variety of glow paint colours are given for use.
All the paint glows brightly beneath the backlights in the studio.
The poncho does a good job at protecting you, but be sure to wear old clothes as it’s not fool proof.
  • Each patron is given a blank canvas to start.
  • Throughout the time allotted, the canvas begins to fill.

  • Handprints left on the glass of the studio.
After completion of a painting, it can either be taken home or donated to Splatterverse for display.
