Greenland Garden Centre lights up for Lights in the Park

By Brenna Boutcher on November 28, 2024

Unicorns, narwhals and polar bears have made the botanical garden at Greenland Garden Centre their home for the Light in the Park event that runs from November until December 30. All proceeds from admission are donated to the Strathcona Christmas Bureau and Salvation Army.

Visitors line up at the Fatfox Nashville Hot Chicken food truck to buy snacks and hot drinks before going to see the light displays.
Families make their way through the entrance to the light displays, surrounded by blue and white shining lights.
Narwhals and seals made of lights populate the centre of the event, turning it into a mystic arctic wonderland.
A father takes a picture of his children through a lit up picture frame shaped like a present.
Dozens of string lights cover the walkway in different colours.
A moose stands tall among trees covered in amber lights, making the perfect fall scene.
Above the path sits one of many 3D snowflake lights.
A purple unicorn gallops at the snow, bringing whimsy to the botanical garden.
A visitor walks through tubes of lights that mimic falling snow.
A polar bear mother and her cub watch visitors at Lights in the Park.

Lights in the Park runs every evening until December 30, except for Christmas Eve and Day.
