60 downtown-Edmonton restaurants offer discounted multi-course meals

By Taylor Winnie Hughes on March 25, 2025

Over 60 restaurants in downtown Edmonton are participating in this year’s Edmonton Downtown Dining Week event. This event is organized by the Edmonton Downtown Business Association as a way to encourage people to spend their time, and money, in Edmonton’s core.

One Edmonton waitress, Caitlyn Pandolfo of Old Spaghetti Factory’s downtown location, enjoys the benefits of Edmonton Downtown Dining Week. “It brings in tips, it brings it atmosphere, it brings in everybody,” said Pandolfo. “A lot of people live out of town as well, so you get a lot of different people. It’s really nice to meet everybody.”

The discounted multi-course dining is just one event of many under the Edmonton Downtown Dining Week umbrella. One sister event is Edmonton Cocktail Week, which sees restaurants, bars and liquor stores across the city offering promotions on alcohol sales.

Both of these events run March 12 to March 23, but the umbrella event isn’t ending yet. Edmonton Downtown Dining Week has other events upcoming such as a couple ’90s inspired events and Spring on the Square, and several of the 60 participating restaurants have agreed to continue their limited time offer until March is over.
